This is a week late to start, but I like Hello-killer's idea for the weekly monster.

For the Light dorm, the monster of the week is Effect Veiler.
Its effect allows you to negate the effect of an opponent's monster for the turn and is a 1 star tuner for easy s
Synchro summons.

This card is also a staple, every successful deck needs to run at least 2 Effect Veiler (1 if you run a super fast deck). Because of the playability of Effect Veiler, it makes for easier combo stops and a fodder for BLS. XD
